Paul F. Sparta Jr., 51, of Manchester, NJ, passed away at home on November 7, 2018. He was born in Long Branch, NJ, and lived in Ocean Township, NJ, before moving to Manchester twenty years ago. Paul loved his music and he cherished his 3 classic guitars. He played in a number of bands as a lead guitarist in both New York and New Jersey.
Paul was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Antoinette Sparta; and his uncle and aunt, Rocco and Anne Pezzella. He is survived by his loving parents, Paul Sr. and Cheryl Sparta; his beloved daughter Kelli Lauren Sparta and Joe; his two brothers, Christopher Sparta and Pat, and Marc Sparta and Karma; and his cousins, Rocco Pezzella IV, Jennifer Pezzella and her children Mia, Tori and Gavino.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, from 4 to 8 PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. John’s RC Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Cremation will be private.
