Neil Magner, 64, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at home on Sunday, October 20th, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Manhattan, NY, and grew up in the Bronx. After living most of his life in the state of New York; he lived in various towns in New Jersey before settling in Toms River seventeen years ago. Neil worked for several auto dealerships over the years; most recently at D.Z. Motors in Rahway as their Business Manager.
Neil was pre-deceased by his son Jarrett Magner. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie; his beloved and devoted parents: Howie and Gloria Magner; his daughter Christine Jaffe and her husband Michael; his two brothers: Alan and his wife Laura, and Larry and his wife Sara; and his two devoted and cherished grandchildren: Julian and Aidan. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends, who will miss him dearly. Neil was a devoted family man and cherished the time spent with his wife and grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday from 4p.m. until the memorial service at 5:30 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation at www.cchfoundation.net in Neil’s memory.
