Michael "Mick" Melillo formerly of Pine Beach, New Jersey passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at his home in Weeki Wachee, Florida. Mick was a graduate of Toms River High School in 1964. He was a 4 year veteran of The United States Air Force 2MOB serving under NATO in Europe. He was a devoted son to his mother and an avid lover of nature.
Surviving are his mother, Ruth Frederiksen Melillo, of Pine Beach, New Jersey, and his sisters, Patricia Quintenz and her husband, Thomas of Pine Beach and Victoria Siglin of Big Pine Key, Florida. Also surviving are his son, Clark Melillo and his wife Tina, and their son, Tyler of Manassas, Virginia and his daughter, Susan Melillo of Margate, Florida.
A memorial gathering will be held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home on Saturday, June 29th from 2:00-4:00. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate an online memorial donation in his name to Disabled American Veterans at the DAV.org website.
