Born in Westchester, NY, he resided in different places in New York before settling in New Jersey about 35 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he worked as a roofer and a machinist for Hillman Rollers in Marlboro, NJ for over 20 years. Michael loved painting and often painted Bob Ross pictures. He was also an avid photographer and loved working on his home.
He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Lena Bruno; and his brother, Richard Bruno.
Surviving are his daughter, Justina Bruno and her husband Chris Catney; and his brother, Philip Bruno.
A private cremation will be held under the direction of Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River, NJ.
