For some reason last night Mickey''s name and face showed up in my memory bank.
I too lived in West Caldwell and got to know Mickey and Bob thru the Wessex Animal league.  I remember her beautiful smile and laugh.  The pictures on face book show what a wonderful life she had with her family.  I'm glad I got to know her.

To my surprise, I came across this by "accident", today, Dec. 14, 2020, while trying to find a phone number for my Uncle Bob, since we have not kept in touch for several yrs (unfortunately).

Aunt Micky and Uncle Bob were the coolest, most humorous relatives I had..... Funny, dedicated to spirit, filled with life, love, and plenty of smiles.  I am grateful to Jesus for the time shared with them. They were the best Aunt and Uncle (Godfather) a nephew could ask for.  

My Aunt and Uncle were one of the few blessings of my life, and always treated me like a human being. Thank you for that.

My heart and prayers are with my Uncle Bob and all my cousins...
Maybe someday we will reconnect.

My sincerest regrets and condolences for your loss. Aunt Mickie, my Godmother, was a wonderful woman who lit up a room like few I have ever known and always made me feel special to be in her presence. No doubt she is lighting up the whole of heaven now, secure in God's loving arms, while watching over you and yours with pride and love. 

My Mom says Aunt Mickie was one of the first persons to meet her first born. That speaks volumes about her importance to my Mom and Dad as they started what ultimately became a family of 7. I don't remember that day, but I know she and my Mom do.

Dear Uncle Bob, Robin, Michael, Debbie, David and Family,

I'm so sad and so very sorry to hear of Aunt Mickey's passing! She was so sweet and always so much fun to be around.  I have so many memories of her but one that over the years I have often giggled about with my Mom, is when Debbie and I took our Mom's to London.  We were on the top of  a double decker bus and realized that Aunt Mickey was  down below with the driver/guide,  when we heard her voice over the microphone being tour guide and talking with a British accent. She was hysterical and it was one of many moments that she had us laughing!  I can only imagine how hard this is for all of you and I pray that God gives you the strength you need to get through this very difficult time! Rest Easy Aunt Mickey! You will be missed by so many! xo


My sister Kathleen and I have a lot of fond memories of Mrs. T and family get togethers. What I remember most was her laughter and sense of humor along with her compassion for all animals. She was a wonderful person and a friend to our entire family. Our condolences go out to all the Terlizzi’s but you should know she touched a lot lives and can celebrate a life truly well-lived.



So sorry to hear of my cousin's passing,   We talked often,  but not as much as we probably
should have.  We often reminisced about our childhood at our grandfather's in Elkader.   We remember being chased by the chickens and about the fish pond in his yard.  We often talked about sitting on Mama Big Bear's front porch in Marquette.  More recently  we talked about when our family visited both in Jersey  and in Iowa,  sadly not enough.  I will miss talking to Mickey very much.  I  loved how she loved talking about her children and bragging about all of her grand and great-grand children.  With much love and sadness....John Gerken

Dearest  Bob, and Family,  

   This is the saddest time for all of us.  I loved Mickey like no other.  We met when we were sixteen yrs old, and I always called her my Pepsi friend.  Mickey had a personality that  never quit.  Mickey was so thoughtful, kind, and funny!  When my first son was born, my first stop was Mickey's house, and she is his Godmother.

  I remember she let me drive her Mom's car, and I almost put it on the front stairs of St. Catherine's church.  We have been friends for many, many years, and Mickey will be in my thoughts and prayers forever.  Love you Mickey!

I can only remember how kind hearted, funny, and always smiling and laughing she was. We always loved spending time with Mickey and Bob.  My memories are talking and laughing with them.
