Mary resided in Cranford, NJ and was a part of the St. Michael’s choir for thirteen years. She retired as an Executive of 30 years from Wells Fargo before moving to Toms River in 2010. She was active in the St. Joseph’s choir and President of the Silver Linings Chorus as well. Mary had a passion for singing. Loved everything that symbolized Paris, the NY Yankees and Barry Manilow. Mary was able to achieve her lifelong dream of visiting Paris in 2015 with her husband, Everitt.
Mary is survived by her husband of 48 years, Everitt Nye, her daughter Theresa Nye, her brother Raymond Walsh, her sister Margaret Walsh-Miskiel, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father William Raymond Walsh and her mother Mary Hartman Walsh.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ . A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's RC Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River with interment to follow to St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
