Mary L. Cagnano

Mary L. Cagnano (nee Cerbone), 78, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2024 at Monmouth Medical South in Lakewood. Born in Newark, NJ, she’s been a resident of the Toms River area for over 50 years. She retired as an administrative assistant for Ocean County.

Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Anthony M. Cagnano in August 2024.

She is survived by three sons, Michael and his wife Katherine, Nicholas and his wife Michele and Anthony III; 5 grandchildren, Alexis Cagnano, Anthony Cagnano, Gia Cagnano, Matthew Sura and John (Jack) Sura; great-grandchildren, Paul Pagoaga III, Giulianna Sura, Gabriella Sura, Jesse Sura, Jackie Sura, and M.J. Sura.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday December 16, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will begin at 4:30 pm. Entombment will be on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Cemetery and Mausoleum 56 Cedar Grove Road Toms River, NJ 08753.
