Martin L. Resnick

Martin L. Resnick, of Lexington, MA, age 65, January 18, 2021. Beloved husband of Marlene B. Simpson for 38 years and most dedicated and cherished father of David and Arim. Martin was born May 27, 1955, in Queens, NY, to Jack and the late Florence Resnick of Kingman, AZ. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Dale J. Simpson and his favorite Aunt Paula Goldberg.

Martin earned his degrees at Brooklyn Tech and MIT to follow his chosen field as a software engineer. He went far beyond being accomplished in his field, he was accomplished in his ability to interact with people on all levels, from elementary school kids to PhDs, many assuming Martin was also a PhD. If you didn’t understand something, Martin could figure out multiple ways to explain it to you until you did understand. He happily shared his gifts of knowledge, patience, understanding and communication to his community and colleagues.
