Joseph A. Nardo

Joseph A. Nardo, 78, of Pine Beach, NJ, passed away on February 14, 2020, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. Joseph was a member of Teamsters #820 and was an armed security guard for Brinks Security in Brooklyn. He loved fishing, playing pool and was a member of the Moose Lodge of Manahawkin and Beach Haven. Joseph was a frequent patron of the Office Lounge in Toms River.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents Dominico and Anna (Bavuso) Nardo, his brother Ignatius John Nardo, and his sister Mary Lamberti. He is survived by his loving wife Francesca (Vespa) Nardo, together for 48 years, and his children Dominic Nardo, Christine Logan and husband Brian, and Jessica Sonner and husband James. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren Robert, Danielle and Joey, his sisters Anna Arbassio and Josephine Cancilla and many caring cousins, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
