Edward David Weiss

Edward David Weiss, age 50, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on February 12, 2015, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. He was born in Patuxent River, MD, and grew up in Beachwood, NJ, before moving to Whiting six years ago. He was the Director of Habitat for Humanity in Toms River. Prior to that, he lived and worked at America’s Keswick in Whiting for the past six years. He was a graduate of Toms River H.S. South class of 1982. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Toms River and sailed at the Metedeconk Yacht Club.

He is survived by his parents: Edwin K. and Sandra J. Weiss of Beachwood; his beloved wife Vicki Ackley Weiss; his son Justin of Manahawkin, three brothers: Brian Weiss and his wife Cindy of Pine Beach, Brett C. Weiss and his wife Michele of Pine Beach, and Kent G. Weiss and his wife Sue of Toms River; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be Monday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday, 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church 700 Main Street in Toms River. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
