Dominick Balsamo

Dominick Balsamo, 84, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday July 8, 2018 at his home. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Dominick was a lifelong resident there until moving to Toms River 25 years ago. He was a retired New York City Police Department patrolman.

Dominick is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jean Giordano Balsamo; three daughters, Mary Jean and Pat Scire of Staten Island, NY, Connie Balsamo and Lisa Giannasca of Belle Harbor, NY, Marie and Sal Albanese of Old Bridge, NJ; grandchildren, Michael and Marianne Scire, Christian and Nicole Scire, Ralph and Jen Calabro; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Giuliana, Madison, Christian Jr., Sienna, Christopher and Nicholas.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will take place at 12:30 PM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery 56 Cedar Grove Road Toms River, NJ 08753. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Dominick's memory to the Alzheimer's Research Association at
