Andrew R. Saldutti, 79 of Berkeley Twp. died Monday at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. He was born and raised in Newark, lived in Clark for many years before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1991. Mr. Saldutti was an electronic engineer for the government at Fort Monmouth for 15 years retiring in 1981. After his retirement he taught piano to many children, played professionally for many years, he was a member of the Musician Educators Council and the Piano Teachers Society of America. He also was a Navy Korean veteran and a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Toms River. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Ann (Lombardi), 2 daughters and their spouses, Linda & Edward Decker & Diann & Jeff Schweikardt, 5 grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Madeleine, Chloe & Chelsie, and a brother Joseph Saldutti. He is predeceased by his brother Pasquale. Visiting will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Toms River, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
