Alicia Cruz passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at her home in Toms River. She was 83.
Born in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, to the late Luis and Mercedes Sandoval, she resided in the Bronx before
settling in New Jersey 22 years ago with homes in both Brick and Toms River.
Her love for her family was immeasurable, she will be deeply missed. She is finally at peace with her husband, Victor and her son Michael. Surviving are her son, Victor, and his wife, Liz; her daughter, Michelle Torres; her grandchildren: Erik, Daniel, Brandon, Megan, Destinee, and Janice; her great-grandchildren: Erik Steven, Jacob, Jordanna and Nova.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 4-8 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 12 PM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Berkeley.
Entombment will immediately follow at St. Maximilian Kolbe Mausoleum.
