Alfred Angelo Joseph Sica III

It is with great sorrow that Alfred “A.J.” Sica III passed away on June 17, 2023 at the age of 30. A.J. was born June 19, 1992 in Toms River. A.J. was a lifelong resident of Seaside Park and a graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School. A.J. was predeceased by his older brother, Brad Sica Sr. He is survived by his father, Alfred J Sica, Jr of Lavallette, his mother, Deborah Sica of Seaside Park, his sister, Tiffany Sica of Howell, his brother, Nicholas Hartman of Lavallette, and his nephew Brad Sica Jr of Manchester. A.J. is also survived by his aunts and uncles Mary Sica Lewis and her husband Tenny, Larry Sica and his wife Karen, Helen Hurrilla and six cousins.

A.J. was known by his family and friends as a kind and compassionate young man. He had a brilliant mind and special interest in all things electronic and technical, showing his prowess in his career as an I.T. Senior Field Analyst for RWJBarnabas Health. He took a great interest in mechanics, especially pertaining to cars. A.J. had exceptional talent in music, playing many instruments including the guitar, flute, and fife. He complimented his instruments with a remarkable singing voice.

A private service will be held for the immediate family on Friday, June 23rd at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River. It is well known to all that knew him that A.J. loved animals, especially his cats.
