Ricardo Moreno Montes

Ricardo was born May 23, 1954, in Harlingen, Texas to the late Jesus and Carmen Montes. He was the ninth child out of twelve children, four preceded him in death, Francisca Montes, Francisco Montes, Socorro Montes, and Jesus Montes

Ricardo was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faithfully served a Latter-day Saints mission in Rosario, Argentina in 1978. After his mission he moved to Arizona. On February 14,1986 Ricardo married Consuelo del Pilar Espino Diaz in the Mesa Arizona Temple, soon after they welcomed four children. While on this earth he devoted his time to help raise his children and provide for his family as a CDL truck driver.

Ricardo loved to serve in the church, study the scriptures, garden, and work on his 1973 Chevy truck. He was a loving and caring person, dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Ricardo is survived by his wife Consuelo del Pilar Diaz Montes, his four children Ezra (America) Montes, Argentina Montes, Mardeplata (Aaron) Rutt, and Iguazu (Ammon) Johnson and seven grandchildren.

We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support given to the Montes family at this time.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tolleson building 701 N. 95 Ave, Tolleson Az 85353.
