Mary Maese Lopez, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on December 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 9, 1935, in Mesilla Park, New Mexico, to Federico and Juliana Maese, Mary lived a life full of love and dedication to her family.
She is survived by her children: Lucy Lopez Goss (Mike), Lupe Segovia (Henry), Louisa Moreno (Tony), Jesse Lopez, and Julie Lopez. Mary was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lopez, and her siblings Lalo and Tony Maese, Gumecinda Villa and Robert and Ismael Parra.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 9:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church in Tolleson, AZ. Burial will follow immediately at Goodyear Farms Historic Cemetery.
Mary's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
