Arturo Pino Cordova, beloved Son, Brother, Cousin, Father, Tio, Grandfather and Friend, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, at the age of 79. Arturo was born on November 22, 1945, in Phoenix, Arizona and lived a life marked by kindness, service, and generosity.He was a first-generation graduate of Tolleson High School, an accomplishment that made his family proud. After high school, he attended barber college and then answered the call to serve his country. From 1965 to 1968, Arturo served as an army medic, offering care and compassion to those in need during a time of war.Arturo had a deep love for all creatures, both human and animal. He was known for feeding stray animals and extending that same generosity to people, always willing to share a meal and conversation. He was a selfless individual who took great joy in cooking for others, leaving those around him nourished in both body and spirit. He is survived by his loving son, Ricardo Cordova, his two sisters, Adelita and Lonnie, and many nieces, nephews, and grandkids who will miss his warmth and companionship. Arturo was predeceased by his parents, Rita and Arthur, his daughter Kristina, his son Artie, and his brothers Raul and Fernando. Their memories remain cherished. Arturo’s life was a testament to selflessness and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
