Peacefully at home and surrounded by family on September 3, 2022 DORIS E. KOERNER (nee Shade), 95; beloved wife of 68 years to the late Wilbur S. Koerner; loving mother of Peg Bjorlin and her husband Dana and Karen Allen and her late husband Tom; cherished Mom-Mom of eric Bjorlin and his partner Krysta Williams, Adam Bjorlin, Stefanie Diehl and her partner Drew Triplett and Joey Allen; dear sister of Margie Martin and the late Francis Shade, Robert Shade and Evelyn Zimmerman. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Sunday, September 11 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Road, Phoenix, MD 21131 on Monday, September 12, 10:00-11am with a Celebration of Doris' life beginning at 11am.
