Barbara Jean Johnson

Barbara received her formal education in the Baltimore County school system. She was a certified geriatric nursing assistant throughout her career spanning over 40 years.

She enjoyed many hobbies including traveling, shopping, Seek and Find puzzles and watching General Hospital. She also enjoyed cheering on the Ravens and the Golden State Warriors.

Barbara was the daughter of the late George and Mary Waters, devoted sister of Delores White (Albert), James Waters, and Richard Waters, and the late Milton Waters (Phyllis), Charlotte Wilson, Eugene Waters, and Robert Waters.

She leaves to cherish her memory: devoted nieces, Marchelle “Tina” White-Stein and Alicia “Lisa” White and their children Karoline “Karly” and Steven, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Barbara’s life will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11 am.

Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
