Helen Palmer Evans was born on April 2, 1937, in Lewiston, Idaho and passed away on July 28, 2024, in Portland, Oregon.
After graduating high school, she moved to Portland to live with her older sister, Bonnetta Denton.
Helen received employment as a secretary with General Electric where she met her husband, Arthur Burt Evans. They had been married for 39 years. Burt passed away in 2001.
Helen was a supreme homemaker; she loved creating a peaceful environment for Burt. She also enjoyed cooking scrumptious meals. Helen was an avid cross stitcher spending months completing countryside scenes. Annually Helen would pick up Bonnie and they would terrorize the country drivers on their way to Idaho to visit family. What fun they shared!
