Dorothy Mae (Roland) Steele Dunn

Dorothy was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended Portland Public Schools and graduated from Commerce High School. After raising five children she returned to work as a secretary for the Beaverton School District. Dorothy retired from Terra Linda Elementary School and was also a longtime member of St. Pius Catholic Church.

Dorothy married twice and both husbands, Glenn Steele and Eugene Dunn, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sisters, Marjorie MacQueen and Molly Flanagan, her sons Barry Steele (Jeanne), James Steele (Cindy), and Jon Steele (Melodie); her daughters Kathie Steele and Julie Anderson; and stepson Scott Dunn. Dorothy was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

At her request there will not be any services or memorial. Dorothy was a cancer survivor. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, 0330 SW Curry Street, Portland, OR 97239.
