Deborah Louise Sloan

In loving memory of Deborah Louis Sloan, age 71, passed away on March 25, 2022, at 7:50 AM. Deborah was born on October 10, 1950, to Frank and Dorothy Sloan. She was the oldest of four children. She married William Ralph Jones in 1966. They lived in Texas and had three children together before moving to California in 1970. Her husband passed away in June of 1976, she then moved to Portland Oregon. During her lifetime, she lived in Portland, Grants Pass, and Riddle Oregon as well as Nevada.

Deborah loved playing the guitar, the great outdoors, fishing, camping, dogs, riding horses, and her quad bike. She also loved Native American beading and the Native ways. Most importantly, she loved the Lord Christ Jesus.

Deborah leaves behind her three children, daughter Linda Slover of California; Son William Ralph Jones of Eugene, Oregon; Daughter Grace Jones of Wilsonville, Oregon; Sister Constance Sloan; her seven grandchildren, Levi Slover, Angela Slover, Skylar Jones, Dustin Jones, and Tabitha Jones; as well as her several great-grandchildren. She spent her last month with her first cousin Trish Fox in Portland, Oregon.

Deborah will be cremated and her ashes will be taken to the beach, in honor of her wishes.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-14

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
