William "Sam" Gillespie, 92 of Broomfield, CO passed away on December 5, 2016. He was born April 4, 1924 in Flint, Michigan. He married Dorothy Glass on Feb 6, 1943 in Flint, Michigan. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, Richard(Donna)Gillespie, Janice(Dennis) Jones, David(Janesse) Gillespie, Les Turney, eleven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Carol Tourney, Howard Gillespie, Edith Gillespie, Bruce Gillespie, Shirley Gillespie, Roger Gillespie. He was a member of The American Association of Petroleum Geologist. In lieu of flowers donations to: Bal Swan Children's Center, Broomfield, CO.
