Ruth Ann Flack passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, at North Suburban Hospital in Thornton, Colorado. Ruth was born in Pecatonica, Illinois and is survived by her daughter Kristine, son Bruce and many loving nieces and nephews.
Ruth attended Nursing school in Rockford, Illinois and made many lifelong friends. Nursing brought her to Denver to work as a registered nurse at Valley View Hospital. In Denver, she met and married the love of her life, Robert Flack. Ruth loved traveling, gardening, daisies, family, animals and was a big Bronco fan and season ticket holder. Ruth was a beautiful, courageous and brave woman who stepped up to help anyone in need. She was so strong in her nearly 50 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis and continued to live a very active life. She always had a smile on her face and is now at peace with her Heavenly Father and with her husband, Robert, who preceded her in death, August 24th, 2015.
She will be missed by everyone whose lives were touched by her. A Memorial service will be held on Friday April 21, 2017 at 10:00am at Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel located at 10201 North Grant Street, Thornton, CO. There will be a committal service at Fort Logan Cemetery at 12:15 pm, following the service.
