Ruby Staley was born in Loveland, Colorado to parents Henry & Bird Hansen.
She grew up in Loveland attending Loveland High School. She met Herman Staley in 1946. They married in 1947 and had one son, Michael.
Ruby worked for Mountain Bell, which then became Qwest, working her way up from keeping the break rooms clean to becoming a proof reader for the yellow pages.
Ruby was a treasure, and will be missed by all her knew her.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Karla Staley; granddaughter, Kari Eby and her husband Steve Kingsley; great-grandsons, Evan Holbrook and Jack Eby; and sister, Gladys Forshee.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Herman; and sister, Alma Worst.
