Paul Nolan Jenkins Jr., age 59, passed away at his home in Thornton, Colorado on February 17, 2021. Paul was born on September 10, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio, to parents Paul Nolan Jenkins Sr. and Alice Faye (Meadows) Jenkins. He and his wife Lisa (Poole) were married on June 17, 2006, in Golden, Colorado.
As a child, Paul moved with his family from Ohio to Florida where he graduated from Coral Springs High School. Later the family relocated back to Ohio. Paul moved to Colorado in 1988. He was employed in the merchandising/sales industry all his adult life. He was admired by his employers and co-workers. Paul earned numerous awards during his career, including being Top Salesman for his district. This accomplishment awarded Paul a wonderful trip to Mexico for himself and Lisa. Paul enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. Driving through the Colorado mountains, enjoying the wildflowers and wildlife was always at the top of his list. Paul liked to cook. He was not afraid to try new recipes, or experiment with old ones. There was nothing more important to him than his family. Friends quickly became members of his extended family.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Lisa, adored daughters, Heather and Sara, devoted mother, Alice and cherished siblings, Tony, Tira and Jennifer. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends. The family’s cats, Angel and Mars, miss him too. His father, Paul Nolan Jenkins Sr., passed away November 19, 2010.
Services will be held at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St., Thornton, Colorado. Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2021, 3pm – 6pm. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 10am. The service will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/olingerhighland. Graveside Service following the Celebration of Life will be at Olinger Highland Cemetery 10201 Grant St.
Paul was a passionate Broncos fan. Please feel free to wear your favorite Broncos shirt/colors on the day of the Celebration of Life service – either while attending in person or via livestreaming.
Paul’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude for all who have reached out to them during this most difficult time. Paul will forever be remembered as a loving, generous, kind soul.
