Michael Allen Loukota was born March 4, 1960 in McCook, Nebraska to Richard and Charlene Loukota. Michael moved with his family to Thornton, Colorado in 1962. After graduating from Thornton High School in 1976, he enrolled in the flight program at Northwestern Community College in Rangley, Colorado getting his private license and air frame and power degree. Soon after college, he was hired by Anheuser-Busch in Fort Collins where they were building the plant. Playing soccer on the men's team meant so much to him, especially taking a 1st place trophy. Art was his special talent which showed when he was very young. Michael was a caring and loving adult. After a motorcycle accident in 1988, it changed his life. He still worked to do the best he could and loved the life he was given. He is survived by his mother Charlene, two sisters Deann Skala and Michele Hahn and 3 nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017, 10:30 am at St. John's Lutheran Church,11040 Colorado Blvd, Thornton, Colorado followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, you may donate in Michael's honor to St. John's Lutheran Church.
