Louise Minnie Pacheco

Louise Minnie Pacheco, resident of Lakewood Colorado, was born to Luis and Louise (Ortiz) Zapien in Merino Colorado on July 5, 1928. Minnie went home to the Lord on November 22,2022 at the age of 94 years old. Minnie started her career at Neusteter’s Department store followed by JCPenny at Villa Italia Mall, as a seamstress. She continued to sew for her family until her last days. She was a devoted loving wife to Donald and a caring loving mother to her daughter Donna. Minnie always put others first and would often take meals to friends and enjoyed visits. She also was known for her Christmas cookies and chili. Minnie enjoyed crochet and made many beautiful pieces. She loved game shows, telling stories of her life, canning, and traveling. She was an avid sports fan of football and baseball. She attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church regularly. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family who respected and loved her dearly.

She was proceeded in death by her siblings: Phyllis, Mollie, Phillip, Carl and Daniel Zapien. She was survived by her loving husband Donald D. Pacheco, daughter Donna L. Saul and her grandchildren Joshua Saul and Valerie Pacheco, also two great grandchildren Aija Schuler and Elena Robinson. Minnie will be deeply missed and always in our hearts, until we meet again, we love you.
