Joyce Kathleen Harris

Joyce Kathleen Harris (Miller), age 85, passed away at her home in Thornton, Colorado on December 25, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Joyce grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri, moving to Colorado in 1973 where she met and married George Patrick Harris. They were together for over 41 years.

Joyce was an avid bowler, loved to golf, enjoyed cross-stitching, and also loved spending time camping with her kids and grandkids.

Joyce is survived by her husband, George (Pat), their children, Patti Haug (Dan), Allen Powers (Sandra), Michele Jahnke (Peggy), all of Colorado, and Billy Harris (Katey) of Arizona. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Lillian and Herman Miller, and her sister Janice Brown.

Funeral services will take place at Olinger Mortuary located at 10201 Grant Street Thornton, Colorado on January 11, 2021 at 10:00 am. Due to COVID 19, there will not be a public viewing and services will be restricted to family members. Burial services will also be private at Fort Logan National Cemetery following the services.

A funeral service for Joyce will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
