Jerry left us on October 21, 2023, leaving a void that can never be filled. He rejoins his son Johnny in heaven.

Jerry was born on May 6, 1970 and was raised with an insatiable love for life. He had a big heart, a quick wit, and infectious laughter. His zest for adventure was unparalleled. He was a true embodiment of the idea that life should be lived to the fullest. Jerry’s passion for life was best displayed through his cherished time spent outdoors, with family, under the hood of a car, and behind the lens of his camera.

Jerry was an avid angler, finding solace and joy in the quiet solitude of fishing. Whether casting his line into a serene lake or a bubbling stream, he cherished every moment spent by the water's edge. He often shared these moments with his two beloved sons, Devan and Damian, passing on his passion for the great outdoors to the next generation.

Camping was another of Jerry's passions. He reveled in the beauty of nature, and the crackling campfire was the backdrop to countless cherished memories with his family and friends. His knack for creating a cozy campsite and the stories shared under the stars will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of camping alongside him.

Jerry's life was intertwined with his loving partner, Kathy, whom he adored for over 33 years. Their love was a testament to the lasting power of commitment, enduring through life's ups and downs. The bond they shared was unbreakable and continues to be a source of inspiration for all who knew them.

Working as a master mechanic, Jerry was an automotive virtuoso. He approached each vehicle as a puzzle waiting to be solved. His mechanical prowess and unwavering dedication to fixing and restoring cars was remarkable. Many friends and family members benefited from his automotive expertise, and he took immense pride in sharing his knowledge. His garage was not just a place for repairs, but a sanctuary where he demonstrated the art of turning wrenches into miracles.

He leaves behind a network of friends and loved ones who will forever hold him in their hearts.

In the wake of Jerry's sudden departure, we find solace in the memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Services to honor Jerry's life will be held at Olinger's Mortuaries and Cemeteries located at 10201 Grant St. Thronton,CO 80229 on November 1, 2023, at 10 am.
