Glenn W. Tiemann, 91, of Denver, CO, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area C. Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Northglenn Elks Lodge.
Glen was born June 14, 1932 in Gary, Indiana to Lawrence & Florence Tiemann.
Glenn was a Korean War Veteran. After leaving the service he went to work for Western Electric. While there, he met Theresa Flinn. After a short courtship, they married in August of 1963. Glenn then went on to work or Jewel T as an auditor and was employed there for 20 years. Glenn was an honorary member of the VFW and a proud member of the Elks Lodge for 49 years where he held the position of State Treasurer for 20 years, was the Exalted Ruler, District Deputy Grand Ruler, and State Secretary.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Cindy Tiemann.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Theresa Tiemann; two sons, James Tiemann (Pam) and Steve Tiemann; daughter, Tami William (Willie); nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Kemp Center 1635 Victor St, Aurora or County Sheriffs of Colorado, 6001 Ron King Trail. Unit C, Littleton, CO 80125.
