Out of high school, she went to cosmetology school and worked in a beauty salon. She married Darrell German and they had 3 children. While raising the family she went back to Floral College and she worked as a floral designer until she retired. After Darrell passed, she married Austin (Sandy) Mitts.
Not only a loving mother and grandmother, she volunteered at various activities through the sorority Epsilon Sigma Alpha and was co-leader of a Girl Scout troop. Over the years, she enjoyed traveling around the states and various foreign countries. She also loved gardening. There was always flowers in the house.
She is survived by 3 children and their spouses, 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Glendola will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at The Villas At Sunny Acres, 2501 East 104th Avenue, Thornton, Colorado 80233.
