David M Pope, beloved husband, Father and Grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2023 in Thornton, Colorado. He was born on January 28, 1965 in Wiesbaden, Germany, to Fred and Patricia Pope.
David attended many schools since his father was in the military and he moved every year or two. After high school he worked as a lighting tech so he could be around all the Music he enjoyed. Later in life he worked for Adolfson & Peterson Inc., where he just celebrated his 20th Anniversary with the Company. He settled in Thornton Colorado where he met and married the love of his life, Tawny. They were married April 20, 1991.
Friends & Family were extremely important in his life. He would love when his three grandchildren or friends would visit so he could cook for them. He enjoyed family vacations to Hawaii, Europe and the Caribbean. Dave enjoyed fishing, golfing and watching football.
Davis is survived by a host of family that includes his devoted wife, Tawny; loving child, Brandon; precious grandchildren, Alyssa, Alijah and Ava; father, Fred Pope; siblings, Kim Brown, Tom Pope, and Kelly Swanson, as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. David was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Pope.
Funeral services will be held on January 30th at 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 11385 Grant Drive Northglenn, CO 80233. Reception following service in Church Hall.
