89, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2014 in Brighton, Colorado. Born January 7, 1925 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado to Faye and Ethel Smith. She is survived by her daughters; Barbara Ann (Bill) Kennedy, and Georgia Lorraine (Jeffrey) Chigro, daughter in law, LaVonne Eatherton, five grandchildren; Bill (Francesca) Kennedy, Denise (Gary) Kloster, Shawna (Tracey) Rogers, Terra Chigro, and Michael (Crissy) Eatherton, thirteen great grandchildren; Shallon, Lindsay, Misha, Jenna, Kristian, Caeden, Tristen, Torrey, Jaxson, Nikolas, Zakary, Breauna, and Dalton, also 2 great great grandchildren, Jack and Will. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Norval V. Eatherton, Sr., her son Norval V. Eatherton, Jr., a grandson Scott Kennedy, and her parents Faye and Ethel.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, 2pm at Olinger Highland Chapel in Thornton, Colorado. She will be laid to rest at Olinger Highland Cemetery following the service.
