Alice Souter passed away on April 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Marie and Marsh Caldwell, brother William and husband Dyke Souter. Survived by her children Sharron Hamilton, Duncan Kerr, sister Leslie Sharp (Mickey), Grandchildren, Tina Martinez (Derringer), J.J. Pixler (Valerie), John Pixler (Ashly), Lindsay Vigil, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was a caring, compassionate, amazing person. She was a grandmother, a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a truly wonderful friend. Attempting to put into words who Alice was is an extremely difficult task. She was the type of person who would work day and night so her children could have what they needed. Though, she provided so much more than a roof over their heads, or clothes on their backs, or even food on the table, she was there for her children through every difficult moment they had to endure. She loved her job. Interacting with people was her forte. She could put a smile on the face of anyone. She had the most amazing sense of humor. A face that would truly light up a room. Being around her was an absolute pleasure. She is what many people would have called an "angel" on earth. And now we know for certain that she is an angel watching over all of us. The impact that she had on most of us was profound. It is where my brother and I got our respect from. She meant the world to her family and visa versa. I don't know what else to say other than she will be missed dearly by each and every one of us. Those who read this will have known exactly what type of person she was and their wasn't another soul out there who could compare to our mother, sister, grandmother, daughter, and friend.
