Thomas Mathew

Thomas Mathew (affectionately called Thomaskutty), was a beloved father, who dedicated many years of his life to helping others in service to his faith as a member of the St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Toronto.

He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who was devoted to his family and for his love of cooking, making every meal special.

Thomaskutty never missed an opportunity to connect with family members, and was an eager adopter of new technologies to deepen relationships with family around the world.

He was born in Kollam, Kerala, and moved to the United Arab Emirates where he served as an Electrical Engineer for 20 years prior to moving to Toronto, Canada in 2001 where he spent the remainder of his life.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Reuben; daughter, Mariam (Rebecca); son-in-law, Alan; and siblings with their families (Omana, Jolly, Daisy, and George).

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3rd at R.S Kane Funeral Home by registration (6150 Yonge Street, North York, ON, M2M 3W9) between 4:00 - 7:00pm.

A private funeral will be held by the family on Saturday, July 4th, 2020 at 10:00am at R.S Kane Funeral Home.
