Susan was the proud mother of Jamie (late), Robbie, and Ali. Loving and dedicated daughter of Robert Emond and the late Mary Demkow Emond. Loving and devoted sister of Kari (Fred) and Cindi (Pietro).
Adored by her nieces and nephews, Kristen, Zach, Francesca, and Filippo, cousins and friends.
Susan was a teacher, a voracious reader, a musician, supporter of the arts, an animal lover and an excellent gardener. She always made time for the little things in life and never lost track of what mattered most.
The family extends their thanks to the caring staff at the Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit.
Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
A visitation for Susan will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home in Thornhill on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 12:00pm to be followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm. There will be a reception on the second floor following the service.
A private family internment will be held at a later date.
