Peacefully at the North York Senior's Health Center on Wednesday July 27, 2011 Stella Elizabeth Heenan (beloved wife of the late George B. Heenan) and dear mother of Linda McKendry (late Jim), Jane Grant (Don), and Karen McMahon (Dan). Dearest grandmother to Christine (Andrew), Robert (Andrea), Jamie (Sabrina), Mary Margaret, Katie and Jennifer (Steve). Great grandmother to Mackenzie, Carlie, Nicholas and Pacey. Survived by her sister Helen James and brother Paul Galaski. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Bernice, Mary, Joe, Stan, Peter, John and Edward. Special thanks to all the staff at the North York Senior's Health Center and to the many neighbours and friends for your kind deeds and thoughtful gestures. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am at St. Gabriel Passionist Church, 650 Sheppard Ave East on Friday August 5, 2011, followed by visitation in the Gathering Space. Private burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please do a random act of kindness in Stella's name.
