Peacefully, on Thursday February 19, 2009 at Providence Centre in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Nemanya Aleksic (1994). Loving mother of Vladimir and his wife Margaret and Lillianna and her husband William Lester. Cherished grandmother to Ivana, Sasha and Anntoinette. Survived by her dear sister Dragica and dear niece Marina. Nada will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Steve and his wife Mary and their son Brian as well as extended family in Beograd, Serbia and many friends. Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to the caring and compassionate staff of Providence Centre.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at York Cemetery.
