As a teenager, Mother Gabriel welcomed me into her Stubbs Village Home and treated me like a daughter when I was nearly a pen pal of her daughter, Maureen.

While are hearts are still broken, we rejoice for a life well spent of Mother Gabriel.
Mom was truly a Mother to many and because of the love and charity she shared with so many of us, her memory will not soon be forgotten .
I am especially thankful for acceptance of me into her trust; I am grateful for the time she took  to nurture me to a place of peace and confidence. It was at a time when I needed it most.

I was one of mama's  personal care worker but for me mama was more than my client she was a woman with a beautiful 💜 she treated me more like a daughter than a worker , she was a lady who had many stories of her family and her childhood days. Mama I love you and I will miss you but now u r in a better place and I know where ever u r u will be looking down on us .love you mama RIP💕

My memories of Mazeline Ileen Gabriel are filled with love and happiness. Being one of her grandchildren, I can say that she was a woman that truly loved her family and her home country. She would always ask how others were doing, or how things were going back home in St. Vincent. She was truly interested in the well-being of those around her. I still have vivid memories of her sitting next to me, smiling, and laughing at the jokes our family shared together with her. Those are the moments I will always cherish, and I look forward to the day when I can share those special moments with her again in the future.

I will always miss you Mom. So much to remember and cherish about you. Our many chats "over the fence", you seated on your favourite chair and I standing over the wall. We will talk about anything and everything. We shared jokes, talked politics and sometimes a little gossip. I learnt so from you about my paternal side of my family, of which I knew very little.
Mom you were such a good neighbour and friend. You never lit a backyard fire without telling me. You lived a good life and now resting in peace. My sincere condolences to all the children and the extended family and thank you all for bringing her home last year for a visit. I will be watching your going home services on live stream tomorrow.

Your smiling way and pleasant face, gone but not forgotten. We will think of you always, we will talk about you too...so many stories. We have so many memories but, we  still wish we have you.

Although I have never met Mrs. Gabriel I have worked with her daughter, Dawn. I knew Mrs. Gabriel was a great person and mother the first time I heard Dawn lovingly talk about her mother. Dawn always had the greatest of respect for her mother and I always enjoyed hearing her stories about  Mrs.. Gabriel.

May the Gabriel family, and particularly  Dawn always remember your Mom's  strength, love, determination, and all those wonderful memories you have of this very special person in your lives.

It is with profound and sincere sympathy to you, Elma other siblings, Sister and respective families for the lost of Mazeline. 
When we lose our mother, or sister regardless of how old, and worldly we are, we feel alone and vulnerable. We feel like a child again. At the same time, we think of all the good days, and moments we had together, all the good things that she did, all the special qualities she had and how she helped us faced up to life’s challenges as we learn, grow and change.
Yes, Mazeline was a very special person and you will miss her and having gone on, you will not forget her. She would want you to keep going the way you have.
