Suddenly on February 7, 2014 at Humber River Regional - Finch Site surrounded by her family. Maria was called home to be with our Lord, in her 85th year.
Survived by her sons Fernando, Steve (Shiela) and Anthony (Ana), granddaughters Marilyn, Angelina and Jacqueline and grandson Minor (Addie). Predeceased by her husband Dr. Jack G. Conti (1999). Friends may call on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at R.S. Kane Chapel (6150 Yonge Street). Cremation to follow. To honour her wishes , she will be laid to rest in her home town in Italy. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Sick Kids Hospital.
