Passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer at North York General Hospital, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Eleanor for 50 years. Loving father of Jeff and Gerald (Joanna) and cherished grandfather of Laura and Claire-Marie and great-grandfather of Aaliyah. John is survived by his sister Debra and predeceased by his brother David and twin brother Gerry. He was a proud member of Local Union 46, Plumbers/Pipefitters Union. John was a close family man who will be missed by all he touched. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29th from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 30th at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment Westminster Cemetery.
