Joan Sylvia Chung-Tiam-Fook

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Joan Sylvia Chung-Tiam-Fook passed peacefully on May 10th, 2020 at Hawthorne Place Long Term Care. She is survived by her sisters, Gloria Chandra, Ruth Lam, and Maureen Berner, her niece, Tracy Andrews and her nephews, Kevin Chandra, Trevor and Adrian Lam and Andre Spence.

Joan is pre-deceased by her parents Lillian and Edwin Chung-Tiam-Fook, her siblings, Arthur, Sydney (Fatima), Gerald and Irving (Norma) Chung-Tiam-Fook.

Special thanks to the staff at Hawthorne Place for their compassionate care for the past two years.

Joan will be remembered for her commitment and faithful dedication to her church, St. George On Yonge Anglican Church in Toronto. Her family would like to offer their gratitude for the loving support, fellowship and prayers which comforted and sustained her during the time of her greatest need.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions on public gatherings, there will be a private cremation then at a later date, a celebration of life service will be held at St. George on Yonge Anglican Church in Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Joan’s memory may be made to St. George on Yonge Anglican Church, 5350 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M2N 5R5
