Our Bill passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Loving husband of Bette (Vance). Survived by his brothers Ken (Lynne), Bryce (Anne) and his sister Ruth Oster (Colin). He is also remembered by his nieces, nephews, an uncle, cousins and many many friends. Bill will be greatly missed by Bette's family in Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his parents James and Veronica Inglis. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. Toronto on Friday, September 21 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Princess Margaret Hospital and The Palliative Care Ward at Baycrest Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory can be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, or the Bruce Trail Conservancy or a charity of your choice.
