On Saturday, July 31, 2004, after a long and courageous struggle, died of congestive heart failure at Humber River Regional Hospital. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara and his children Father Ignatius; David and wife Emily; Jane and husband Al Wei, their children Lester and Becky; Peter and wife Cecilia, their children Charlene and Jonathan; John and wife Sarah, their son Leo; Julie and husband Edmond Wang, their daughters Michelle and Rachel; and Thomas. Visitation for friends will be at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday, August 4 from 7-9 pm. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Father Ignatius at St. Wilfrid Church, 1675 Finch Ave. West on Thursday at 10 am.
