Harry is predeceased by his wife, Janet Ida Antonides (2021). He was a kind and generous man, deeply loved by his daughter Ann Antonides-Wieringa, sons Dean and Dale Antonides, six grand-children and two great-grandchildren, as well as by his surviving brother George, and sisters Theresa, Pauline, Inez, Margaret and Jayne (predeceased by brothers Stan, Casey, and Hielke).
Harry was one of the founders of the Christian Labour Association of Canada, and worked steadfastly for the organization for over 40 years. He was a passionate advocate for Christian action, witness and renewal in society. A voracious reader, he knew well that “ideas have legs”. He was a prolific writer on labour relations, and on many cultural and societal issues as well. Harry led a public life and his sphere of influence and contacts over the years were extensive.
He will be missed by many.
