Oh so very sorry to hear of Uncle Colin's passing. He was a true brother to our father, Eddie Walker, ensuring to stay in touch by telephone for their fortnightly exchange of dry wit, a true Walker trait, and play catch up on family gossip.

Uncle Colin was deeply effected by the loss of his last surviving big brother, Eddie, as Peter and I are now upon hearing this very sad news.

Peter and I would very much wish to pass on our deepest sorrow and sympathy to all the family.

Genuine heartfelt sympathy goes out to all the family. All the brothers stayed friends all their lives and Uncle Colin made sure he travelled back to England to keep these ties. My father, Norman Walker was proud of Colin's achievements and talked about with affection and love.

I can only view your loss through the loss of my father and I know you will all have wonderful memories to share and celebrate the life of Colin., this does not overide the empty physical area in your lives. It is true that it is only time that can give you distance to come to terms with the loss of such a dynamic and loved person.

Please accept my condolences. I new Colin from my time working in the USA and subsequently travelling to Canada from the U.K. I always found Colin to be a gentleman and a true Lucas man professional, considerate with a dry sense of humour.   Colin and Andy Grant made a good team and they were fun to be with. God bless.
