Bruce Frank Near, 77, of Thornhill/Huntsville passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, in the presence of his loving wife. Born in Toronto on October 5, 1946, to the late Frank Manning Near and Helen Marie Petrie. Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Heather Diane Near nee: Bone, their two children Christopher Near (Michelle), and Kevin Near. He is also survived by his sister, Irene Helen Furze nee: Near, several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Bruce will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, generosity, and commitment to family will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
