Beverly Joan Carr

CARR, BEVERLY JOAN (nee HAY) – November 15, 1931 – Joan passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 01, 2023 at Vaughan Hospice. Predeceased by her husband Reg, she is survived by her 3 children Randy (Kathy), Susan (Larry) and Michael (Kim), her 7 grand children Chris (Meghan), Brian, Chris, Ryan (Kiki), Jackelyn (Angel), Megan (Luke), Kevin (Lauren), and 3 great grandchildren Nick, Bennett and Kai. Beloved sister of Vicki (John).

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was fiercely independent, managing to live alone in her condo in Thornhill. She loved to dance, especially to the big band era, loved spending as much time with her family especially with her grand children and great grand children.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lai, the cancer centre at Southlake hospital and Vaughan Hospice for their compassionate care. Visitation will take place at Kane Jerrett funeral home, 8088 Yonge street Thornhill on Sunday August 27 from 3:00-5:00. Funeral service will take place on Monday August 28 at 11:00 am at Thornhill Presbyterian church, 271 Centre Street Thornhill.
