Mr. William "Bill" Osborne Maness

Mr. William Osborne “Bill” Maness, 75, of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, September29, 2018 at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Bill was born on November 21, 1942 in Anson County, NC, a son to the late Grover Cleveland and Cora Belle Helms Maness. He was an expert carpenter and enjoyed going to the mountains. Most of all, he was always sure to have a good time and was the life of the party.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Surviving are his four children, Teresa Mulback, Donna Maness, Harold Maness, and Gary Maness; and two sisters, Louise “Siggy” Blakely and Joyce Fain.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 2 pm Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Maness officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Thomasville Funeral Home is assisting the family.
